ABOUT MYSELF
I am actually an Accountant and not a profecionall food critic, unfortunately :-)
I eat everything, I love trying new receipies and eat food I have never eaten before. My favorits are Seafood and Pasta/Pzza. I prefer to see my seefood first alive before I eat it, which is hard to get here in Switzerland because obviously there is no sea here. So when I do go on vacation, I go quite crazy, gain kilos and spend money.
My favorits are:

Razor clams
I know a lot of people think Pasta is so boring but it's not so much about the Pasta really, it's more about all these X-thousand sauces you can mix with it. Some might use rice for it, but I think the structure of the rice is quite boring.
My favorite Pastas are:

Spaghetti Carbonara

Pesto Pasta

Pizza Diavola

Cannelloni
I can also enjoy really good meat but I am not so fond of it. My favorit meat is, steak of course, Lamm and Pigeon. Chicken I eat when I feel the need for a diet :-)
Then, I prefer vegetables to fruits, have never been a fruit lover, can eat it here and there but is just not talking to me like the vegis.
My favorits are:

I prefer the food quite salty, I use Vegeta instead of stalt because it makes the food more aromatic and feels more healthy than just salt. Can't imagine my life without it :-)
It is very common to use it in the eastern european countries than in Switzerland. I think you could compair it to Aromat, but it taste quite different. Can only recommend to try it.
