WINES
As you can see, I am mainly interested in white wines. I do drink sometimes red wine or rose but only occasionally and therefor not a specialist. Not that I am really a specialist with white wine but I just like to share my recommendation with you.
Also, I think is overrated that people say you can drink only certain wine to certain food! You drink what you like the best and think pleases your stomach. Although, with time, I think you start developing some sort of matching combination of wining and dining. I don't think is completely easy for the tongue to taste, both strong wine with light food, neither contrariwise but then again, taste is different from person to person.
It is a bit like normal drinks and food. Some people like Coca Cola to their meal and some water, so how come it's different with the wines?
I used to love Chardonnay a lot, now I am more into light and green wines. I guess ones taste changes over the time.

Rellay nice wine, had it first time in Malte and just loved it. It was a very popular wine in Malta. The price for the wine is approx. EUR 12.00 but was being served and recommended in the top restaurants of Malta. Is a good start for those who are not really familiar with the strong white wine and for the lovers a MUST TRY!

Chablis Premier Cru Vaillons AC is a very delicious wine for wine-lovers. It is mineral and dry, perfect for Fish, white-meat and cheese. Definitely a MUST TRY! Price is CHF 30.00 and you can find it at Manor.

Orvieto is not to beat for it's price and quality. For CHF 4.35 you get a fresh and dry wine from Italy for warm summer days and perfect for Apero's. You can do anything wrong if you decide to buy this one at Denner.

This refreshing Spanish wine is quite different to the other strong ones Spain has to offer. It has a citrus and spring-flower taste, perfect for Tapas or other starters. Price is CHF 15.00 and you can buy it at Paul Ullrich.

For some of us it is hard to believe that, Austrian wine can be good. This one will prove you wrong. It is a fruity and black-peppery wine, fresh and light. You will enjoy it. Price is CHF 10.00 from Coop.

This wine is a very typical Chardonnay from California, the grapes have a strong taste and quite different from the ones from Europe. It might take a while to really enjoy it but when you do you will love it. Goes also well with meat. Price CHF 10.00 at Denner.

This Pecorino grape has a mix taste between Sauvignon Blanc and green wines. It is quite fruity and goes well with Antipasti. I guess the Pecorino wine is having a comback. Price is CHF 15.00 and you can buy it at Manor.

This wine is very light to be wine (10% Alcohol) and easy to drink. Which is why, it's perfect for an summer afternoon (or morning :-) ?) because it refreshes and doesn't hit you immediately. This wine is made from the "early" grapes when they are still fresh and quite green, hence the name, green wine. Also it is sparkley and definitely worth the CHF 7. You can buy it at Manor.
